Q. Do I have to pay in full for my courses now?
A. We require a non-refundable deposit (the amount depends on the course) at the time of registration, and the remaining balance to be paid in full 60 days prior to the course.
Q. What are the course hours?
A. Our course schedule is as follows:
- Friday: Breakfast/Registration 8:00 to 8:30; Course 8:30 – 4:30
- Saturday: Course 8:00 – 1:00
A. We provide a continental breakfast and lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday.
Q. Are there activities scheduled outside of the course?
A. Many times, we have dinner with our attendees on Friday night. Otherwise, you are free to enjoy the many activities the area offers on your own!
Q. Do you have transportation and lodging recommendations?
A. Three major airports (BWI, Dulles and Reagan National) are easily accessible from the CDEC, and we recommend the Westin Annapolis Hotel. See our location page for more information.
Q. Can I sign-up for only one or two courses in the workshop series?
A. Yes. The workshop courses can be taken individually. However, for ideal learning, they should be taken in a series format.
Q. Will I receive CE credits for courses taken at the CDEC?
A. Yes, we are an approved provider with the Academy of General Dentistry’s Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE). Participation and lecture credits vary by course but, generally, Friday/Saturday courses provide participants with 12 CEUs. Upon completion of a CDEC course, we will submit a roster of attendees to the AGD and participants will receive a verification of attendance to submit for credit with other organizations.
